They’re just some of the products that BT hand trucks are helping to transport this month in the ongoing Lifter Diaries project, which sees forty BT Lifters posted across Europe and reporting on their experiences.

Founded in 1921 Gucci is today one of the most famous and important fashion and luxury brands in the world, synonymous with elegance, refinement and quality. It manufactures its products in Italy and distributes them all over the world.
The BT Lifter’s job at Gucci has been to handle the different types of leather that Gucci uses, including ostrich and crocodile. Its operators really appreciated its handling and quick pump, which have made the daily operations a lot easier.
In the Netherlands, big cheese wholesaler Zijerveld & Veldhuyzen has been using a similar truck from BT. They also thought the pump to be very good, and liked the new bearing design, which they found easier to grease and better protected against water.
Also in the Netherlands, Ice Carving NL has been using a BT Lifter to transport the 1.5 tonne blocks of ice it uses for its prized ice sculptures, which are seen at events around the world. The truck is also used to load finished works on to their lorry, so safety and smoothness are essential.
Other BT Lifters have been working in diverse applications from fish processing to chocolate making, vineyards to pharmaceuticals, car parts to porcelain.
