“We’ve been really well treated”

Adam Bovin and Gustaf Leijonmarck are studying Mechanical Engineering at Linköping Institute of Technology. Adam is focusing on machine construction and Gustaf on ergonomic design. To complete their engineering degrees they are now writing their graduation project on product development at BT in Mjölby, southern central Sweden:

“We already knew a fair bit about BT and realised there were some exciting fields of activity. Our graduation project is about the operator environment in the small electric trucks, and it’s due for completion in mid-June. There are two phases. The first entails mapping the trucks’ environment and how they’re used. We’re interviewing truck operators to identify their needs. We’ll then use this foundation material to move on to the second phase where we’ll be generating new concepts in steering-arm solutions.

“Our work at BT began in late January and so far it’s been interesting and enjoyable. No matter where we’ve gone or who we’ve spoken to, we’ve always been very well treated. A job at BT after university would certainly be a very interesting option. It’s an exciting, professional company!”
