The System of Active Stability (SAS) dynamically protects both drivers and loads, and safety is also enhanced thanks to excellent visibility. The truck’s interior, roof and mast give the operator the best visibility right up to the tip of the forks, both when driving and when handling loads from the ground and at height.
For optimal productivity, the torque converter delivers the most efficient and smoothest transmission of power from the engine to the wheels. A pedal layout and driving behaviour similar to that of a car delivers an intuitive driving experience. For extra power in more demanding applications, the DT20P, DT25P and DT30P models are equipped with a heavy-duty 3.5 litre diesel engine.
The heavy-duty chassis is designed for intense applications in different work environments. Electrical components are water-protected and electronic control units are fully enclosed for added protection from moisture and dust.
The BT Cargo range offers the best in driver ergonomics, with a low, wide step and front assist grip for easy entry and exit. Plenty of head and foot space and an ergonomic seat with lumbar support provide a comfortable driving experience. Very low vibration and noise levels also reduce strain on the driver.
The range exceeds the emissions standards of European Directive 97/68/EC Emission Stage IIIa. The trucks contain no asbestos, mercury or cadmium and are 99% recyclable at end-of-life, further reducing their environmental impact.
The models range from 1500 to 3500 ton. Two additional two-ton load capacity trucks – the GT20N and DT20N – are compact models that deliver excellent power and performance where space is limited.
