The OP range of trucks are also available in a walk through version (W) where the pallet is surrounded by a fixed load frame. The operator simply uses the pallet as an extension of the operator’s platform and picks items standing on the pallet. These trucks are mainly used for order picking of bulky items and they lack the initial lift feature. Due to the walk through platform the trucks are always driven with the driver facing the mast. Three versions exist.
The OPW 1200 SE version has a maximum picking height of 6,6 metres, (platform height of 5 m). It features a chassis width of 1020 mm and is only available with a Duplex mast.
The OPW 1200 HSE has a maximum picking height of 11,1 metres, (platform height of 9,5 m). It features a chassis width of 1250 mm and can be obtained with either a Duplex or a Triplex mast.
The OPW Space has a maximum picking height of 9,6 metres, (platform height of 8 m). It features a chassis width of 1475 mm and can only be obtained with a Duplex mast. The OPW Space version is used where there is a need for handling very large and bulky items such as furniture.
All OPW trucks feature the BT Optipace system which electronically optimises speed, acceleration and braking according to the present lift height. This gives maximum performance at all lift heights.
